            This group will give participants an opportunity to work on individual problems in the highly effective CBT group format.  Problems may be emotional disorders, relationship issues, or from any other aspect of life.  Be prepared to participate and complete homework between sessions.

 

            Contact the office to schedule a 30 minute evaluation session before group begins.  Those who are suitable will be enrolled in the group and given further information.

 

            Fees are due the beginning of each session of the group and are non-refundable.  Payment may be cash, check, or credit card.

 

About the Facilitator:

 

            Beau A. Nelson, MA, LCSW is a psychotherapist specializing in short-term cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).  His current practice with adults includes individual, couples, and group therapy.  He is a frequent lecturer at state and local conferences on private practice management and on CBT.  His training includes two master’s degrees and advanced training with Dr. Albert Ellis, founder of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy.  His active yet warm style is effective in conveying the techniques and spirit of CBT and in helping clients to experience benefit from this highly effective therapy.
